Thanks, media, for making her this way.

Mix together:
Our generation's preoccupation with one-upping everyone else's "awesome" time

One too many viewings of Sweet Home Alabama, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, or any other romantic comedy that distorts women's ideas of what they can reasonably expect from men

A subscription to Cosmo starting at the age of 11, just old enough to be reading tips on sex and how to snag a man

and you get an overexcited, man-chasing female named Brittni (God-given name, I'm sure) who can't spell or least chooses not to.

(Thanks to our anonymous submitter!)

  1. Oh, wow. I read a lot of these and giggle at how annoying they are, but this one got me for some reason. Maybe it's the all caps or the excessive exclamation points or the terrible spelling. More than that, I think it's the attitude that Brittni (name= strike four) is so much more happy and in love than the rest of us... and potentially a stalker. I want to warn that poor man.

  2. i cannot stop laughing at your post gilliebean. trust me her statuses are always in caps, which i guess is a way to show her over excitment about her AWESOME life.

  3. I love how she continues even though she exclaimed that it was the end of the story. Hmmmm.

  4. I love the thought of what Prince Charming's status probably was, probably something along the lines of:

    Zac got laid!!!!
